A planned power outage for the Nanaimo campus has been scheduled on Friday December 5, 2025 from 12:00am - 6:00am.
BC Hydro will be working on system upgrades.
Impact - Moderate - elevators will not be functioning during this timeframe. Contact Security at 250 740 6512 if assistance is required. Essential equipment will continue to operate through emergency power sources.
Please ensure all sensitive equipment that is not protected be shutdown by end of day Thursday December 4, 2025.
